Car detailing advice

Quick question on my plan.

So i'm planning on getting a DAS-6 pro with a CG yellow and orange foam pad used with FG300 and FG400 compound to remove the above swirls? Plan to start with orange and FG400 and move up if necessary (which it probably will need (?)).

Does this sound reasonably good plan?

Does sound like a reasonable plan, but both Yellow and Orange CG pads and the Menzerna polishes you mention are towards the heavier end of cutting. I'd be tempted to swap FG300 for a lighter cut polish - perhaps a PF2400 and start with that on an Orange Pad. Step up to FG400 on the Orange, before swapping up to a Yellow pad.

If you need more than PF2400 on an Orange to sort the defects, you're probably going to need another go with a polishing pad and finishing polish with low cut and high gloss for the best results. White pad with FF3800 should do the job nicely.

Great thank you.

CYC dont have the PF2400, they have PF2200 and PF2500. I'll go with the PF2200 and then the SF3500. And also the FG400.

With these three and the range of cutting and polishing pads I think that should be good to go.
Heres my final shopping basket.
