Car different from DVLA Database

DVLA database says a car that I'm currently looking at is a 1998 1.8 polo, which it is most definatley not - it's a 1998 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE.

Car is currently on the forecourt of an independant dealer.

Possible reasons for the reg not matching up to the model of car in the DVLA database?

Dodgy?

Should I avoid?

Try and keep away from flaming the jellomould fisherprice coupe if you can!

May have just had a plate change, is it a private plaate?

Regular S reg plate by the looks

Funny you should say this I used to have a coupe myself which was registered as something other than it actually was, ring the DVLA and ask for details. If they can't give you any details hyundai should be able to give you a little bit more.
