TBH with oil reserves running out i'd rather car manufacturers spent more time concentrating on how to squeeze as many MPG out of a car as opposed to them going Rah Rah... look at our new uber twenty turbo charger engine capable of pushing out 10000 BHP.

Looks like a good concept, I wish them luck with it. I doubt it's down on safety though, since my 100E was clearly stronger than the car I wiped it out on it's probably built the same way: light and damn strong. It'll just have less anti noise padding and AC etc that weighs modern cars down.

lol but thats not saying much is it. If you arrive at a busy roundabout in that car, can it safely pull away into the traffic without causing an accident by crawling into the lane?

I'm simply saying some cars are underpowered. My mums Fiesta 1L was 45bhp and that was horrifically slow to accelerate...
0-60 in 19 seconds, that is too slow imo.
