Lupo for sure. Depends how many miles are on it as it could well be timing belt etc time if the gearbox and clutch have had it!

60,000 miles.

I haven't got the Punto, but i could have wrote the other thread saying "There is this car that i will be buying that has a 40w stereo" then people would argue "why think about it now, wait until you have the car" because a lot of people on here are argumentative and i couldn't be bothered arguing :)

Old Rovers fall to bits too often to be considered, really.

True on some maybe, mines 14 years old and the only major thing we did to it was replace the clutch, and that was more of a project type thing than a must, even the mot guy commented on what a clean example it was for its age. Im looking for a 220 soon anyway :D

Oi, nothing wrong with mine! And since I put the rubstrips and spats on there, it's looking loads better.

It'll get through the MOT at this rate anyway :p

Wow, £30 extra! That's fantastic!

from 1056 to 1087 a year :D i can do it all online too so i only pay the 31 quid and i am insured on that car. how much did you 220 cost you anyway?

Bought if for £350... spent about £600 on the mods... spent about £40 'doing it up', haha

Just think, had you spent £40 on mods and £600 'doing it up' you'd actually have a really nice Rover 220 now rather than something which looks like its about ready to be SORN'd and has more filler than B&Q..

A lesson maybe for next time :) Get the car mint, then buy seats and tat.

That's very true Fox. If I hadn't started on the bodywork and had just left to the professionals, it wouldn't look half as bad.

A lesson to myself there... leave it to the pro's ;)

You'll get a good one for £500.

The GSi's don't fetch a lot. I've seen clean ones going for £300.

:) cool already got £400 towards it, dont wanna get one too soon considering all the work that has gone into my car though
