I am looking for someone who will insure me to do a charity event, i need car insurance for 3 months, 2 weeks of which will be european cover.


does anyone know anywhere that would do anything like this, also need to have 4 people on the policy
 
Driving you and your mates to Eastern Europe on the Student Gumball is not a 'charity event'.

You'll need to take out a 12 month policy and cancel it after 3 - thats the only way I can think of that you'll manage it.

but it is a charity event becuase we are doing it for cancer research, and have already raised £1000 so i think your wrong on that.
 
Actually you are doing it becuase you want to do the entire trip with your mates for a laugh without paying a single penny out of your pocket and you think the best way to do this is under the thin veil of a 'charity event'.

You want to go to Europe, but you want other people to pay for you. If you can make it look more acceptable by donating whatever is left after your holiday to charity, then hey...

Obviously I will take all of this back and issue a full apology if you are paying your own expenses and donating ALL the income to charity.

Anyway, I must go, I am planning my charity BMW purchase - I am getting people to sponsor me to buy a 530i - all the left over cash after I've bought the car will go to Cancer Research.... so im really good and do stuff for charity, nothing to do with the free car obviously... ;)

we have decided to pay for it ourselves. its going to cost a fortune so are donating everything.

i will send you a picture of the finally amount being handed over if you want ;) the only things we are not paying for are the Car (being donated) and the petrol as a company is giving us use of there Company Card (Hulage company) everything else we are donating.

this sounds interesting, but I've not heard of this kind of cover for Motor Vehicle insurance.

What car are you taking? personally i would find something that will qualify for classic insurance, and insure it for limited use/mileage.

Let us know if you find anything though...

we have found that using Ecarinsurence.co.uk or whatever it is, comes out at about £80 a month for all of us on the policy. which isnt to bad.

so looks like that i sorted now, now to get the car all stickered up ;)
