Car keeps getting keyed

What a nightmare :(

Are no other cars getting done nearby? sounds like you've offended someone, even if not that recently.

ill have to have a nose around later and check

I dont think ive got any enemies around here either, i think its just someone who feel the need to ruin something he/she cant get

the mondeo was done about a month ago, and mine have all appeared in the last couple of days

but mind you about 4 month ago, we use to park the cars right out side the house till the council decided to take 6ft off the road for a extended high pavement, and put white lines down, so we was forced to park the cars round the corner and about 2 week into it we had a knock on door from the police, someone had complained to them about are cars and made out to the police that the road was a access road only, which is a pure lie, both the policemen was being sound and was basicly on are side, whats make it even more funny is that the cars aint in front of anybody's house :/

never thought owt about that though till i just read your post

I'd put money on it being down to someone not happy about you parking in "their" space outside their house.

People get in a real strop over parking. I had to get our drains cleared which ment shifting both cars off the drive. I stuck one outside our house (which I don't normally do as it blocks the guy oposited drive) and stuck the other outside the adjoining neighbours house. He came back and "his" space was filled with my car, so instead of parking somewhere else sensible like the other side of the close he sticks it infront of a shared drive way. When someone asks him to move his car he does so but also gives the story of why he "had to" block their drive. After moving his car he gave me a drirty look through the window, slammed his door shut and stuck his music on full whack.

This is the same neighbour who always tells his guests to park outside our house which I have no problem with and have never grumbled about. In summary... theres nowt as queer as folk :(

Anyway I'd be tempted to try and park elsewhere if this is an option to see if the damage stops, also check the cars in the area as already suggested as you need to find out are you being singled out or is it happening to others. Finally if you get it fixed and have to carry on parking there I'd put a cover on every night. Sure its a pain in the rear but it means that people can't do a sneaky scrape with the key as they'd have to remove the cover first.

He may be right yknow!!

The damage is also gradual..as if someone is gradually trying to give you a hint? hmmm it'd certainly fit!

If it' happening to both you cars then I'd turn on the proximity alarm and try and park elsewhere.

There are some strange folk around, my neighbour in front of my house is the same, they park all their cars on their driveway as do I but when I was having my front driveway redone I was parking not in front of their house but 1 house from across their drive, don't park in front of my house as I'm on a corner and I've had a car scraped when parking there. No problems you'd think but after the first time I did that they started purposely moving all their cars off their driveway and take up all spaces in front and either side of their house so that when I got back from work there'd be nowhere near to park. First time I thought it was weird as they normally never park their car in the street, second time I mentioned it to the wife who told me that they only moved the cars at around 4:30pm, half an hour before I get back from work.

Thats thing im not in front of anybodys house, there's a old women who ive known all me life whos back garden stretches pretty far back which my car is usally next to, then if its on other side there's a corner shop we about 20-25 meters meter's of free space and no houses, :/

I dont think its do with that though, i think its just spite to be honest, you don't understand how many little **** live in this area, if anyone knows chesterfield they would vouch for how bad birdholme/boythorpe are for tosspots

could someone please link to best t-cut for the colour of my car? or would i just be better off going into halfords and asking them to come look at it and see what they say?

Thanks

Hope you catch the toerag in the act. Do you any cctv around that area? It might be worth notifying the local beat bobbies. I wonder if the scratches could be got out by using a wet mop and cutting paste.

Id suggest hiding under a coat in the back seat armed with a 15" black rubber *****.

On a more serious note though its amazing how people can ruin someone elses property like this. Id imagine it would have to be the same person unless theres some keying epidemic breaking out. Hope you get it stopped.

Your not really after one of the coloured T-Cuts as they are more of a general polish than a cutting agent.

You need T-Cut metallic but TBH I doubt many of those will be coming out as they look pretty deep :(
