Car keyed

You'll be wanting:

1) Paint to match your car.
2) A fine brush, like art brush.
3) Primer.
4) 4000 Grit wet and dry sandpaper.
5) Clearcoat.
6) Polish.

....and a guide on what to do, that I'll try and find.

T-Cut wont fix a keyed scratch.....I don't think.

Any joy on finding a guide? Am thinking I may give it a bash myself as some of it looks down to the metal :(

at what time did it happen, could you leave it there again and sit nearby and watch to see what happens?

Edit: No, can't find it, I thought it was on Detailing World, but cant find the thread anymore.

you should get the car to a detailer with a porter cable. A full machine polish may work by taking down the layer of the paint.

Is down to the metal in places & the primer in others, needs filling first.

Im in exactly the same position, I work in a reasonably nice area (Tonbridge, Kent) and have to park in permit zones along residential areas, got back to my car this evening to find that the whole of the passenger side (front wing, front and rear doors) have been keyed to a reasonable depth.

Ive just spent £13k (5 days ago, including £700 on the paintwork) on my next car which I should pick up any day now and im just thinking whats the point when some **** can spend 2 secs in ruining it. Im so angry.
