car mats

I usually use rubber mats but they look crap, i have the geniuine BMW carpet type mats on top of the carpet in the car, is this what most people do? Does the carpet not get worn from heels?

I bought a George to wash them every now and then so that's not an issue.

Yup the carpet type mats will get worn, but they're cheaper to replace than floor carpet and look much better than rubber mats!

Yup, genuine JDM carpet mats for me, good quality mats don't wear quickly.

I bought some vw carpet mats a couple of months back, they fit and look much better than the aftermarket tat that was in my car before.

I prefer carpet because if I have wet shoes, I can kind of dry them on the mats so that my soles don't slip on the pedals.

I've got GDM mats in mine. Not that they are any different to UKDM mats obviously but GDM is just soooo much cooler.

lol. Im after a set of genuine mats at present for my car since the ones in it have a poo fitment. Must be FDM and I need UKDM ayyeee

genuine bmw carpet style. no sign of wear yet.

HalfordsDM mats in mine, you can see where my heel rests but not actually showing any wear.

Just bought my GF some AldiDM mats and they seem pretty good for sick squid.

All but the cheapest carpet mats should be fine so I'm sure your Bimmer ones will stand up to the job.

arn't mats normally reenforced on the drivers side

The mats in the Alfa cost £55 when the car was bought, they have an incredibly deep pile but sadly only the drivers one secures in place!

I thought it was funny that someone refered to their mats as "genuine JDM" rather than genuine Honda or whatever, Fox must have also thought it was amusing as he started talking about GDM... I just took it a step further and started spouting rubbish as normal
