Right my 21st tomorrow and my dad is buying me driving lessons so ive got a while yet to get a car

But having no idea about cars i would like so suggestions for a first car.
Really its only going to be a little run about in and im not gonna worry about the odd knock as this car is to boost my confidence in

Try out some old bangers mate, pick up something like a Fiesta/Escort for a couple of hundred quid and save anything you have left...
