Hi all,

lately (past week or so) when i get in the car in the morning to drive to work, i have Radio 1 FM on. After about a mile of drving (the same route i always go to work), i get so much interference that it just dies on me. So i tune to a local station (Heart FM) and that is the same. The only other station i can get is another local station (Trent FM), which is better, but not perfect.
When i travel home at the end of the day, all stations are fine.

Now, i imagine that its not the car radio that's at fault, but does anyone have any ideas? Local interfence by......something?
Is it possible that the car has an issue? i.e, temp of engine etc. (i know nowt about cars btw :) )
Its Renault Laguna (2001).

My journey to work is 13 miles, but one mile into the journey the reception goes boobs for the rest of the journey. Buts its been fine for the past 2 years.
I haven't tried changing routes at that particualr time, as i'm sure you'll understand, its just not practical (rush hour traffic etc)
I don't now if there has been any air traffic control (a few small airports near me)type thing that has caused some interference, or if there is something wrong with my cars antenna, i just don't know.
