Here's my problem.
I've got 4 of these bass speakers that are used with my rock band and I've now decided to carry 2 to use with my other band.
When I get home at night I have a major problem of trying to handle these on my own because they are a weird shape and now my wife has refused to help (because of her back) and sometimes my daughters aren't in (usually everybody is asleep).
I've had so many friends lose gear out of their cars in the past that I am reluctant to leave them in after a gig until it's safe to get them out.
This is where me being a bit thick comes in -
The car will be backed up to either a garage or another car so the chances of getting them out will be slim unless the car is moved forward.
Of course the alarm will go off as soon as they break in which we will hear immediately and the chances of an opportunist thief having a van nearby would be rare.
The opportunists would also have to lift the bass bins above their heads because they wouldn't have room down the side of the car.
What are the chances they could break in, start the car up and drive off without having the keys?
The car is a Ford Mondeo Estate RK reg and is fitted with an immobiliser.
I've never left gear in cars since I started driving in 75 so this a big deal for me and any advice would be appreciated.
