car stereo installation help please

currently my car (mazda 323 99 reg) has a sony cassette player installed. i want to remove this and add in a cd player but i cant figure out how the hell i get the original stereo out? any ideas?

Universal release keys from Halfords most probably. Think they cost around £6-8 quid or something.

I've just used some old kitchen knives in the past. Depends what the mechanism is like. Google is your friend i would imagine

A large flat head screw driver and swearing a lot usually does it for me...

Just don't expect to use the stereo again

You need release keys. But normally any thin screwdriver can do the job with any expense.
