No, not the S3. £30k's worth of hot hatch on the drive, and some thieving scroate takes the fiance's car, a 15 year old hyundai worth about £500 but that has sentimental value to us (it belonged to my late grandparents) :(

Neighbour knocked on the door at about 2:45am having just seen it happen but been too late to stop it and having called it in to the police.

So if anyone sees a red hyundai X2 gsi, reg no K963 PFE around, let me or the police know.

Thanks.

Even if it was worth £6 or £60000 the value has no real bearing on I imagine how your feeling right now.

I imagine you are upset for your misses but also very angry that someone feels it's OK to steal somebodies possession, probably something they depend a lot on.

I hope they are caught although as car theft is a "minor crime" I cannot see any resources being withdrawn from policing the dropping of cigarette butts and being shifted to catching car thieves.

Head on over to your local council estate, me and my mate did when his car got nicked, found it crashed into an old boiler tower (christ knows how).
Stereotypes always play themselves out in the end.

Obviously thought the S3 would be too much hassle and just wanted a quick getaway.

Still a gutting thing to wake up to though. :( Hope you find it with minimal damage Dolph.

Obivously not pro's as they would have had a go at taking the S3.

Stupid kids looking for a joy ride probably.

I do feel for people in these circumstances though.:(

Sry to hear, my bros car got stolen a few times when he visited our mothers home. It was a bad area tho for dodgy kids etc.

The thieves probably was local so if cops keep around ** area they should find it eventually.

Sorry to hear about it. It does'nt matter if it was the S3 or not really, its the point that someone has nicked something thats yours. I hate them.

I hope that its found very soon without any major damage.

It could've been a lot worse I suppose. With any luck your car will turn up OK.

Hopefully the thieving scrotes get nabbed and cautioned () or something equally severe.

S3 - loads of security. Difficult to steal.

Hyundai - no security. Very easy to steal.

It's sucks mate, but that's the difference between the two cars.

And thats the unfortunate truth - we had the same sort of situation when the wife's 10 year old Ford Escort was the victim of an attempted break in, they'd destroyed the nsf lock and scratched the hell out of the door - but they left my fully alarmed MK1 MR2 parked next to it alone.

Like you said the financial value of a car makes no difference what so ever when some scroat tries to steal / damage it - Also like Tesla said it's about time the police prioritised crimes in more acceptable manner.

Hope you get your motor back, and if you find out who stole it break their fingers - its probably the only way these idiot will learn to respect other people's property

I'll keep an eye out. However, I'm not even sure what Hyundai X2 looks like. Is that the same as the Hyundai Pony? Do you have a picture you could put up?

A lot of filthy scum have been causing trouble in Plymouth recently, did you see the pics in the Herald that I took a few days back? This is what happened to some poor sods car not that far from me:

mmmm, Efford.

It's been a great place for a long time with minimal problems, and in the last few weeks there has been a ***** scum uprising :( Fortunately police are actualy doing a really good job at the moment.

My wife is staying with a friend in Kent, and rang me up at midnight last night to tell me an almost new MINI Cooper S had been torched just down the road. The owner had recently had a bit of a road rage incident and was followed back home by another car (stupid fool for going home tbh).

Flipping scum I hope the cars returned undamaged ..as for the chavs fingers crossed what goes around goes around.

Hey Dolph,

Although your car is not popular to thiefs as they usually go for 5 door high powered cars so they can steal quicker, I'd get a tracker on yours if you do not have one. The S3 will probably still be popular (try a google search for stolen audi s3).

If you go for tracker get tracker horizon for £100 more than their others as the ones below it are practically useless.

Agreed and you could be surprised how close it will probably be, I remember a few years back I was on a driving lesson through local estate and my instructor suddenly says "Follow that Bike!".

It had been nicked from him a few days earlier!
