Car Tax Issues (moving house)

Could you not just rip off the little bit which you get when you buy a car? You can definately tax off that and i doubt the DVLA need it for a change of address :)
 
The last few V5's I've had have been processed and returned to me inside a week, so in all probability you'll have the form back.

Keeping the New Keepers Supplement is a good idea though - you'll be able to tax it using that.
