From the Sun:

"Car Tot Tragedy A tragic one-year-old girl died when her dad left her locked in his car for five hours in 130 degree-f heat in St Augustine Shores, Florida."

How can it be reported like that? Don't have much more to the story than that, but it is clearly a tragedy but what about more.. neglagence and murder. I thought a tragedy was something that could not be averted, or at least not intentional?

Seems a lot of Americans seem to be doing this recently.

I can't imagine why people would do this, there is no point to this thread other than a rant tbh.

Put the pillock in an oven for five hours while he roasts, lets see how he feels then.

I love how you're shocked about this story, yet are perfectly fine advocating the torture and murder of a grieving parent over what seems to be a tragic accident resulting in the death of their baby Daughter.

The father will have to live with this for the rest of his life and that is punishment enough. Other parents can only learn from his mistake.

I am sceptical about the whole didnt realise the baby was there defence as quoted in the link.
Either way, how horrible. I felt bad enough when my then 2 year old son got a tad sweaty in a car with a window open. Luckily he is now 15 and kicking my butt on Guitar hero Metallica.

I think its murder tbh - only 3 questions need to be asked:

1. what takes 5 hours to go back to your child in the car
2. knowing the heat why would you leave a child in a car knowing you'd be gone for a long time
3. in todays society what makes him think he can leave a ONE YEAR OLD on its own..... ON ITS OWN.

I mean a car is not a giant baby cage. its stupid

Read the article. The guy didn't even know his wife had placed the baby in the car.
