Hi All,

Looking to get my MOT booked and havent got the VIN handy while in work and paperwork in a box somewhere due to house move.

I know of the "view source" trick but cannot find a page that has the info within the source code. Anyone able to give me a way to get it free

Friend has just advised me that you can sign up to BluePrintLive to do this now guys.

It used to be trade only, but now it seems you can just sign up willynilly. :p

BluePrintLive cos I somehow managed to get an account a few years ago, when you had to be a trade customer to get an account.

However it seems from their website, you can now select "car owner" or something, and you can sign up without pretending to be a shop. ;) :p

I feel a bit less special now. :(

This isn't really an answer, more a question to your question - why do you need your VIN to book an MOT?

Im in northern Ireland. so everything here is throug the DVA and not the DVLA so they are about 10 years behind the times with their booking systems
