Car Wash

I do the car inside and out myself when the weather is warm.

If its cold, I wuss out and pay to get it hand washed and then do the rest myself.

Try to wash at least once a week, wax less often. This also works for cars.

It depends if you care about the condition of your cars paintwork. A car wash will clean the dirt off, but it will scour and put swirl marks all over it. All the crud that gets washed off of cars gets lodged into it, and it's dragged over your car.

I wash mine every week, using the 2 bucket method, lambs wool mitt, and a drying towel. I also polish it reguarly using Auto Glym Super Resin and then wax with Dodo Juice.

Rinse it with the pressure washer
Snow Foam - Using Meguiar's Hyper Wash
Rinse it with the pressure washer
Wash it with Easirider Lambswool Wash Mitt & Meguiar's Microfibre Wash Mitt - Two bucket method using Raceglaze Wash & Wax Shampoo
Rinse it with the pressure washer
Dry it with PB Luxury Drying Towel.

Wheels get done with a brush and the Microfibre Wash Mitt using R222 Wheel Cleaner (Regular)

As for when: Whenever I can be bothered! Ideally at least once a month. Currently I don't bother waxing or polishing it, but I might when I CBA.

I goto the local wash & sit in the warm while the immigrants wash it.

Others wash my vehicle at work too! :D

Regular handwash in good weather & chamois dry, 2 coats of wax in the autumn, treat like crap in winter with occasional jetwash when its filthy, good clean in the spring again & another 2 coats of wax for the summer.

I find the immigrants do a better job in about 6 minutes than I can do myself in about an hour, time is money & all that, well worth £4 that I pay for a wash & leather.
