Carabao Cup Final Man Utd v Newcastle ** Spoilers ** [26th February 2023]

Rashford might be out for this unfortunately. Luckily we have Weghorst. The Wout, the Wout, the Wout will misfire!

Not a chance he’s out, it’s mind games.
on another note I’m all packed up for the final, leave to travel up-to Edinburgh at 3am for the 7.30am flight to Heathrow, trafalgar Square on Saturday and then Wembley club tickets for sunday

Excited/nervous already. Got to take the little one to a kids party between 1 and 3pm which should take my mind off things for a bit. :o

Given our recent dip in form and ManU’s recent rise, I’m not expecting much. Just getting to the final is a bonus given where the club was this time last year.

I just hope that: a) if we lose, it’s not an absolute hammering and b) it’s a clean game with no major controversies.

Newcastle have a habit of doing things the hard way (a bit like England), so a no-drama result (either way) would be welcome.

Roll on 4.30pm and HWTL.

Both teams losing and seeing Karius playing for another team will make me happy today.

Hold no ill feeling towards the guy, he was never good enough and shouldn't have been bought, let alone picked as long as he was, but that's not his fault.

Pretty hyped for todays game. Our moral must be sky high after beating Barcelona, I hope they can convert that into a winning performance to be proud of. If we do win, I do hope ETH can bring the players back down to earth to focus on the next game. The worse thing that could happen is win this and lose the next game after a Cup winning hangover.

Well having a bit of BBQ before heading to Wembley, butterfly’s are really kicking in now I’m not expecting to win, I’m just praying we actually turn up this time unlike the last 3 times we have been to Wembley, I don’t want it to be a one sided embarrassment
