Carabao Cup Final Manchester City v Spurs ** Spoilers ** [25th April 2021]

Its ridiculous that A he keeps doing this and B the Spurs manager allows it.

Has he trained at all?

Its usually the manager asking the player to do it. I think we underestimate how many niggles and issues most professionals are playing through.

Anyone who plays a lot of sport and then takes a month or two off usually suddenly realises how shot their body was.

I can' imagine any start players at any team are given as much time to recover as they would like or need. Thats kind of what the off season is for.

He asked him and Kane said he is fine to play....like he did in the last final they played and they played with 10.

They always ask the players. The player can always refuse to play but they very rarely do especially in something like a cup final etc. No doubt he will be on painkillers.

Managers have the last say, if he hasn't been training and is clearly not 100% they don't have to play them.
