Carabao Cup - Quarter Finals ** Spoilers ** [10th - 11th January 2023]

The fact the semi final is two legs makes it pretty unlikely that Soton/Forest will pull of an upset twice.
Last time saints made the final (2017) we beat Liverpool over two legs in the semi I see no reason we can't beat Newcastle who may well be heavily focussed on a top 4 finish as well, key will be a positive result in the first leg if we can take a goal or two advantage into the second leg it will make for a very interesting evening.

Southampton were a good team in 2017 though.

Why is that funny? It is factually correct. Yes Newcastle are having a good season but Man Utd have proven winners throughout their team. Doing well in a league is one thing but getting a team over the line to win something requires something else.

Its happen time and time again when the bottom league club pulled it out of the bag in cups.

Would love a Forest Vs Southampton final :)
