Surely playing Norwich again is as good as a bye, according to 11v11 I wasn't even born the last time you lot lost to them (April '94)!

That was my first game at Anfield.

I'm not sure how serious Norwich will take the game but we'll put a 2nd team out for sure. Klopp doesn't have much time for the domestic Cups but it would be nice to have a bit of a run in it, just so I can watch Kaide Gordon play a bit more.

Hell we might even put out a 3rd team, tbf there isnt really much point in the Carabao cup. The rewards for winning it are not much of an attraction and risking an injury to a major squadmember for the competition isnt worth it.

We always seem to draw PL sides in both the League and FA cup for the last 5 years. Why can't we get a few of City's draws.

It must be the way the balls are as we historically have tough draws as well. Maybe the balls still think City is in League 2.

I think it is actually not too bad though as squads at the top are massive now so good way to get fringe players some proper competitive game time.
