Carabao Cup Semi-Finals ** Spoilers ** [9/10 23/24 January 2024]

Ive seen a lot of shouts for us to sign a rb so Trent cant play in midfield...looks like we already have one.
Yup, although I still don't like the idea of moving Trent into midfield in most matches, far better having him drift off the right where he can't be easily picked up.

Against the big teams there's an argument for Trent in the middle and a "proper" right back though, for a bit more solidity, and Bradley definitely deserves a shot

Or let him replace Trent when he signs for Madrid with 12 months left on his deal in the summer :)

Won’t say a bad word about the lad again.

Awful for the first 60 mins but really good from then. Nunez is a force of nature and sooner or later he's going to hit somebody for 4 or 5. I didn't think he done too much wrong vs Newcastle last week and somehow didn't score but he was so unlucky again today - he forced Leno into 2 big saves from nothing opportunities and then Leno pulls out a stunning save to deny him again.

Bradley done well and I know it's massively harsh on him to compare him to Trent and it's also magnified with Gomez at LB but we really lacked creativity from the fullback positions that we're so used to getting. Assuming Trent's going to be missing the next 2-3 games and neither Robbo or Kostas will be back before him, I'd be tempted to move Diaz to the right just to give us some natural width.
