Carabao Cup SF Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th/8th Jan 5th/6th Feb 2025]

Arsenal offered very little in 180mins of football. Always amazes me they ride so high in the table
Lets not be silly now, we can dispatch 95% of the league with relative ease. Our biggest weakness is a team that can play a low block well, couple that with Newcastle's ability to break on you with quality and pace and you've got a recipe to defeat us.

We had to win that game which encourages us to play more dangerous than we would do normally and Newcastle are perfectly setup to counter that. It's a game where we rely on mistakes to cut through rather than our own quality and if Newcastle play a perfect game this was always going to be the result.

We never got a hold of this tie and Newcastle did themselves proud, perfect 2 legged semi from them.

That's kinda the point. There's glaring holes in the arsenal setup I don't understand why it still works against 95% of the league.

There's still some quality to pull though but feels that 95% should become 90, then 80 and so forth.
