Hi,

I'm moving house soon and was wondering wheres the best place to get cardboard boxes, gona need quite a lot, possibly for free?

cheers for any help

a lot of places break there boxes down for easier packing so go in 2morrow n ask them to save some still built up and some they are flat packed and buy some brown tape :D

There is an internet site that specialises in boxes and packing tape specific to moving house...

Name escapes me at the mo...

when you're in a supermarket shopping, just take all the bubblewrap that isn't being used from around the fruit, they don't mind =]

You could also try http://www.freecycle.org - you join a Yahoo group for your local area and people post things they want to get rid of or requests for things they want. On my local group there are always people offering cardboard boxes for collection. Might be worth a try, chanes are someone in your local area might be able to help you out.

I work at Morrisons (BOO!) and asking for banana boxes is usually a winner for most people.

Go in about 12 ish and say save me some for tonight and go back about 7 - 8 ish...Be your best bet.

You should have posted this 5 years or so back, I used to work at 'Board Products' here in Stoke. We used to manufacture cardboard boxes and the shaped polystyrene filler material.

Yeah, shame on you Reastah for not realising your moving date 5 years, or so, ago.
