As said, supermarkets are your best bet if you want free boxes.

Although when my parents moved house a few years back, the removals company actually provided them with boxes.

I would advise smaller boxes too; 50cms X 50cms is a big enough size, especially if it will carry books/heavy stuff.

Much less awkward to carry than heavy big ones. I got all mine from my local bar (wine boxes etc).
