Need a new g card, running a x300 the now after my 1900 gave up on me.
Not a heavy gamer, so putting out for a 8800 a no go the now.
just enquiry how these two cards compare.

depends what u wanna do. if its more for media then go for 2600xt. if its more gaming go for X1950..

im not saying the 2600xt is bad for gaming because it isn't... it run games very very well... but the X1950 is abit faster..

thks, it will be more for media, bar the odd good game :)
will both run latest games & future ones like cyris, metal gear wars ? Ok ?
I know it will not run as good or high settings as more exp cards.

it should run fine but we can't really say till crysis is out.

heres a game i bought today Medal of Honor Airborne .benchmark results. single card, everything on max, at 1680x1050

2007-09-08 15:55:06 - MOHA
Frames: 4588 - Time: 120000ms - Avg: 43.233 - Min: 35 - Max: 51

im not saying u would get the same results because every system is different. its just to give u an idea of the performance..
