Card Reader Help

Hi guys

Im hoping someone can help me out, ive just brought a card reader its and im totaly lost as no instructions tellin me were the 9 pin connor goes on the mother board and if i have to do anythink in the bios so it works, im not good at explaing things so i hope u get the jest of it and can help me out,

you should have some usb headers on the mobo and you will notice they have 1 pin missing from the corner as does the connector. It goes there

oh and usually USB is blue and firewire is red HTH

Just brought one myself the other day. Can confirm that it's a USB connection... headers normally along the bottom edge of your MB. If in doubt consult your MB Manual

i dont have a clue lol, i have a K8N Neo2 mobo, took side off tower and looked inside, and i see green and yellow with a 9 pin connection, but there also another 9 pin and not sure what thats for, so im hopping you canhelp

The yellow ones are your USB and the green ones are firewire.

So it goes in the yellow.
