card reader problems

i have just purchesed a lain li card reader (the one on the ocuk site) and i am having problems with it. i tried using a 2GB MS pro duo and a 4GB M2 card with an adaptor and both refused to show up (disk management says no media loaded) however if i use a 64MB MS duo card it works, i have also tried a 1GB and a 2GB xD card and a 4GB SDHC card and 2 128 MB MS and they all work

any idea why the card reader works with all but the 2 MS pro duo cards i tried?

the light to indicate it is working goes on everytime i put a card in (includign the 2 it doesnt read)

bump (sorry mods for a double post), i really need help with this problem as i brought the card reader mainly to use with the 4GB m2 card.

i have also tried a 2GB micro SD card and it also works
