Howdy. As title really. I've been having problems for about 2 months with Windows (XP Pro SP2) being picky about loading, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. :( Anyway after trawling through these forums I tried disconnecting different USB devices. None of this really worked so I openned my PC up and unplugged my card reader. Windows now loads perfectly but obviously I can't use my card reader as its not plugged in! Is there any other way around this?

Thanks.

My card reader gives me a few problems too, just before you get the bootscreen it'll hang for a couple of minutes, luckily mine's external though so I just plug it in as I need it.

I think it might be something to do with the boot order in the BIOS, some of them let you boot from an external USB device, I'm going to have a fiddle later and see if it cures it.

It hangs indefinetly on the blue loading bars, I've had a fiddle with the BIOS and have 1st - HDD 2nd - HDD and 3rd - Disabled all other USB options seem to be as they were before.
