can anyone confirm the sizes of the 4870x2 compared to the core 216
or even better
does anyone know if the x2 fits in a lexablackline case ?

The cards are about 26-27cm and they should be able to fit in fine wiith about another 1.5cm spare between it and the hard drive cage.

Just as long as the PCIE graphics power connections are on the side of the card, then you will be fine, otherwise if they are on the end like most ATi cards have, then you will be screwed.

I currently have the original Lexa - Silver Aluminium and it fits my GTX280 fine.

Might depend on the model of the X2, standard size should be 27cm. The Sapphire 4850X2 is 28.5cm. Luckily the power connections are on the side on these cards, so you should be able to fit them in fine, though I doubt the 4850X2.

yeah the 50x2 is a big fat no no for thr blackline
thanks for help
i did google but come to no avail

Well what you could do is go to the official website of the card you are interested in, get the dimensions there, and then just put it out on a piece of paper or card and measure it out. Its how I did the for my GTX280 since I wasn't sure about it.

Anyways a quick search on the NZXT forums gave me this,

Now thats a damn tight fit.
