I need to book a hotel in Cardiff for the 13th, preferably somewhere fairly central / near the station.

I know there are a few from around that neck of the woods on here, so any recommendations? We would like something reasonably nice (i.e. not a glorified B&B) but not overly expensive (<£100).

Thanks in advance

Depends what your after, there is a Travelodge just outside Central Station, There is a Marriott which is not far either, but not sure on their prices.

i can recommend st davids in the bay, but its a bit above your price range..

cheap - big sleep

Been considering the Big Sleep, mixed reviews but seems very well priced at £50 and a reasonable location. Bizarre colour scheme and Ikea room design but at that price I wouldn't be expecting anything special!

Just checked out St David's, some breathtaking shots and at £110 would be affordable if it's 'worth it'. Given the choice I know this is the one the other half would prefer!

believe me, st davids is worth it.

the bar and restaurant isnt cheap, but the food and drink is great.
