Hi,

I am looking for a bit of basic advice really.

Im a pretty slim guy but need to loose a bit of fat around the chest area. I am a member of a gym and have started to do about 30mins on the treadmill and about 15 on the bike when I go, or I do about 30 mins swimming at the moment (breast stroke).

I try to do this about 3 times a week, I eat fairly healthily - is this going to be enough to loose the "moobs" ?

need more info to tell if it is enough really.
how many calories a day are you eating, whats your general diet like?

fat loss at its basic level comes from eating less calories than you are using each day.

I dont count my calories but a basic idea of it will be this:

Breakfast
---------
Muesli with semi skimmed milk (no sugar) or boiled eggs

Snack
------
fruit

Lunch
------
Sandwich (nothing too heavy on the calories) and try to eat brown / granary bread or jacket potato with Tuna

Snack
------
fruit

Dinner
------
This could be anything really... vague yes.

How heavy are you?
whats a snack? how much fruit and what fruit?

Doesnt seem like lots at all, potentially you could be undereating

Snack will be 2 of the following: an apple and banana / pear / grapes / strawberrys

Edit: I am 12 stone... 6'1 tall.

Morning cardio (before eating something) if you can fit that in to your schedule. Try some HIIT training (which is like sprinting for 30secs then jogging for 10, etc, that sort of thing). Low intensity cardio (in the fat burning heart stage)

Eat a little bit less, exercise a little bit more and if you feel a little bit hungry then you should loose weight.

Diet is the key to losing weight, no matter how much cardio/exercise you do you won't loose weight if your calorific intake is too high. The info you provide on your diet is too vague to work out how many calories you're consumming.

I'd suggest you try and work out just how many cals a day you're consumming. Once you know that you'll have a better idea of what you'll have to do to drop a few pounds.
