Career change

Hi guys I posted in another thread, I'm 27 stuck in a dead end job. I want to start computing dunno where and how. What are the quickest and best options? Someone mentioned cisco, also I would like distance learning or part time, and if possible something very future proof with a good salary. Will I be at a disadvantage being 27?

Ah, I've replied in the other thread, faceman! And don't worry about your age -- people become surgeons in their fifties. Some ageism does exist, but in tech ultimately your experience and previous projects will have more weight, and since you're already pursuing an MBA, moving into supervisory roles shouldn't be an issue later on (the place where plenty of elder techmen end up).
