Ok I took one out a year ago with Barclays to pay for my masters, which I finished a couple of weeks ago :). But now it’s getting to that time where I have to start paying it back...

I took out £4000 over 47 months with 36 now remaining, with an APR of 7.8 so ill end up paying back a little over £800 in interest. Does any savvy person know of any good CC/loans/advice etc where I can hopefully just pay back the £4000 :D, I’ve heard a few people talk about putting it on credit cards with 0% something or other. I’ve never owned a credit card or any other loan so I’m not too familiar with what it all?

I’ve calculated that it'll realistically take me about 6/7 months to pay it back in full..

Any advice would be great

Thanks

I've used Egg/Mint/Virgin and I believe they all still have 0% balance transfers, however some of them might charge you a 2% fee of the total transfer, I haven't made one for a while.
So that's an £80 fee for the £4000 and another thing to watch out for (i've been caught out on this before with my natwest loans) is that some banks 'front load' the interest on your loan, i.e you pay the interest back before you start paying anything else.....I'd research this because if you have already paid the interest it may not be economical to balance transfer.

Hope that makes sense!
