micky mouse cup to be honest, im not saying that becuase millwall went out first round.

Yes you are. It's alright cup comp for lower teams, Mickey Mouse cup for Prem teams!

I always wish we'd stick out a stronger team for the carling cup. I think the semi final being 2 legs at a hectic point in the season puts managers off though.

Excuse the noobiness but why are some Premiership teams there and not others?

Is it just the "big four" that join later?

West Ham at home, excellent draw. after the match against palace, we can hope for a positive result in the 2nd round :D

Teams in European competitions enter in the third round.

Newcastle would take it, need something to feed the hunger :( :P

Yeah, I shouldn't have said 'Prem' teams as it's a good way into Europe, teams like Newcastle, Bolton, Boro, Villa etc etc would love to winnthe Carling cup.

Sure it's only one leg and extra time and pens. Only one date down on my official fixture list

Its been two legs for the past few years as far as I remember. Chelsea played two legs against Wycombe(?) last season, Arsenal did against Tottenham, year before we played Blackburn twice. Might have changed this year, not sure.

Nottm For v Leicester

This will be a good game from a Forest point of view. I hope we get a good gate and the injury list of Forest players shortens before it kicks off.

Any ideas which ones will be on TV?

It hasn't been confirmed yet I don't think.
