Kick-off at 19:45 at Upton Park

Live on BBC2

Wednesday 12th January
Ipswich Town vs Arsenal
Kick-off at 19:45 at Portman Road

Live on SS1/HD1

I'm going to go for a West Ham home win and a shock Ipswhich win at home. Apparantely, we're 5-1 to win the cup. Givens Avrams record I'd put a punt on that :D

After being pummeled 7-0 (?) i doubt Ipswich will be much of a challenge.... It just depends on wengers tactic, if he goes in full force then it should be an easy win for the manager of the decade.

Just seen that Squillaci is injured and Thomas Vermaelen has suffered yet another injury!!!!!

Hate to be picky but 5/1 ON means you're 1/5, which isn't the case.

Arsenal 4/7
B********m 4/1
West Ham 9/2
Ipswich 12/1

Are the odds. :)

"Scott Parker fills holes" :D

Hahaha

Nice to have 5 Live Commentary in sync with the game, even if it's his royal ponce Allan Green.

KOvac is a complete and utter moron, Green had to release the ball or concede a freekick deep in his own box for holding it too long. If he punts it out and Kovac is kneeling in the box, Brum can just leave 5 players in the box, and if someone punts it straight back in the box West Ham are screwed, do up your laces up but get the **** up the pitch first.

West Ham were great in the first half, and Birmingham were great in the second half for the same reason, commiting men forward. West Ham kept Brum pegged back by attacking hard in the first half, but they came out wanting to defend the lead, which allowed Brum to push forwards and do exactly the same thing in the second half.

After Cole/Hines came on there was a few minutes West Ham actually got forward again and instantly Brum were sitting much deeper, fair result overall, stupid red card, awful BBC directing in general as they managed to miss almost the whole incident, took ages to show a replay and you've got to assume that Larsson did something to upset Obina and they didn't manage to show the few seconds before the daft kick.

West Ham have been capable of that first half performance all year, they've done it in LOADS of games, the played great against the good early season Chelsea, but they tend to always drop deep and cause themselves ridiculous problems in every single game, throwing away so many points.

There was a bit of pushing before the throw was taken but nothing to warrant Obinna to do that.

Wayne Bridge should sort out the LB issue and Jacobsens fit, so it looks like a solid back 4 for the rest of the season with Reid dropping to the bench.

We've got a Junior John Terry in the form of Tomkins methinks :D
