All the big boys in the CC now so thought it would gain more interest. I imagine Wenger might take this more seriously this year than ever :)

Anyway, Leeds, this game comes at a bit of a bad time, we have Brighton on Friday which is a very big game, I don't know who SG will risk, I don't think we have much chance getting a result against Man U but we don't want to be embarrassed neither. We've faired well against Prem teams in the last three years, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool but that's playing a strong line up.

At least Brighton are playing on Wednesday, seems mad we are playing them on Friday and not Saturday. They're in the same boat as us though, they won't want to risk their players but Liverpool at home and in their form, they could certainly cause an upset.

Fergie has confirmed Pogba will play some part tomorrow, looking forward to seeing how he fairs. I'd take a guess at our team being...

------------Lindegaard------------
Valencia---Jones---Evans---Fabio
Fletcher---Pogba---Giggs---Park
------------Berbatov
----------------Owen

Subs: Amos, Carrick, Anderson, Young, Rooney, Macheda, Diouf

I think Poyet will concede the Liverpool game gracefully as our real target are the play offs, or better this season. CC is just a hindrance, especially with a tough game just 48 hours later.

The switch from Saturday to Friday was made because the University with whom we share parking had a long standing 'open day' on the Saturday and they get priority over us as they own the car parks!

2nd team practically for this game as a big game v Everton coming up and then Bayern.
------------Tevez---------
Balotelli--------------Johnson
---Milner--Razak---Hargreaves
Kolarov--Savic--Toure--Zaba
----------Pantilimon--------

Somebody said on a Leeds forum last time Leeds beat Man U their last 2 league results were 5-0 and 3-1, which is the same this season. Can lightning strike twice? :D

I'm not expecting us to win again and not fussed if we don't, we can do without the extra games this season as we are going to struggle as it is.

I'd take an unembarrassing defeat right now. We don't need the extra games with the lack of depth in our squad, but we don't want to get hammered either.

I said that last time round too.

The league cup really isn't all that exciting, after beating last years champions yesterday it seems to be some what of a bad omen to be good in it...

Then again Preston at home is such a simple game that I can hope we get one of the big teams for a decent game either on tv or an excuse to go to a prem team away.

Plus Charlton did the stupid thing and lost so we didn't get to have the saints charlton rivalry thats observed by a massive 3 of us.... :(
