Best atmosphere I've ever seen at Stamford Bridge tonight. Was unreal!

Fulham were dog**** and deserved NOTHING. We outplayed them with a weakened 10 man team.

Even with your "b" team, 10 men quite often play better than 11 (without considering the gulf in class)
Yet someone said in this thread "Leeds must be rubbish to lost to that team"
When did Leeds lose to Chelsea recently ?
....or did you mean Fulham....
(I dont know anything about the current Leeds team, but I heard a few main stars where not available which cant have helped - but after the first few minutes, they didnt do that much to scare Utd)

Yup, we were always going to struggle regardless. Think that was 8-9 changes to our squad, with a 17 year old (who was probably our best player, alongside Briggs) and a couple debutants. We didn't play that badly, just weren't clinical enough and our possession when we had it didn't count for much. Possibly should have had another penalty, but meh had 90 minutes to win!
Like our team was anywhere NEAR first choices, I think there was probably one first choice, two if you include Kelly who is probably now our first choice right back. It was probably the youngest squad we've fielded...ever
(obviously not serious).

I knew I'd have to explain myself...of course I meant vs Man U, the game that happened in the Carling Cup...on Tuesday.
Our best team was out actually. We played **** to be fair but still.
Just had a look at the general cost of Fulham/Chelsea in that game. Chelsea fielded a team that cost around £85m (not including Alex's cost 'cos I don't know it) vs Fulham's £17.5m...which £10m'ish of that is one player. The other £7m is on Baird, Kasami and Gecov.
thats even more confusing as Utd were never mentioned or referred to in the quote you posted
Fair enough - I thought a leeds fan posted in here a couple of your "stars" werent risked due to the.....Brighton? game on Friday
Leeds have bigger fish to fry as it were, so I doubt its that much of a concern
