Carling Weekend/Reading/Leeds

I have brought mine in comfort the last few years as if you went the year before they let you buy them early, I got mine last year 2 weeks after the 2005 event.

Rumour has it this year you need a Car Park Pass can anybody confirm this?

I had an email from See Tickets but the link didn't work :/

I couldn't see them on the seetickets site thou, couldn't get early entry last year when they offered it to 2005 goer's trying to get some now

Reading can't be sold out purely because Glastonbury isn't on this year can it? I swear it never used to sell out so quickly?

Nope you could normally get them a day or two after release before.

In the past leeds has typically taken awhile to sell out, last yearone of my mates was able to get a weekend ticket about two weeks before the event - but initial allocation usually takes at least 2weeks to sell out as well.

I managed to get my ticket, as well as an extra 2 incase my mates can make it (they need to wait until student loans come in this month at least). I guess a lot of people do this, after all at worst i lose the booking fee cancelling, or can sell on at cost.

Reading will probably be sold out tonight, leeds will likely still be avaliable for tommorrow at least, possibly the rest of the week but dont chance it.

Got mine 2 minutes ago, was on the net and the phone since 7.15
had to resort to buying 2 x coach packages.

Im dead

EDIT: got through on the phone

Anybody got any news on where these Car Parking Passes are coming from?

They seem to be free except a booking fee!

I had to go back into the order screen and just order a pass.

I can fully understand why you need a car park pass - I stewarded at Reading a couple years ago and the parking situation was a nightmare! Pretty much spent a whole ten hours on the Thursday getting dogs abuse because all the onsite carparks were full. At least with passes they should be able to manage the situation better.

PS. i feel like a n00b... im getting the train down... no cars are involved.. can someone confirm i dont need a car parking thing :)

and whats the crack with the wednesday malarky?

2004 per chance? Was a complete farce that year, total chaos. Particularly on Monday.

If you dont plan on parking a car, no.

Pass so you can get in on Wednesday - a day early. Night night, pick of the campsite (yellow rocks on j00). More festival goodness, though Thursday can be a but boring
