CAS Timings Query

I currently bought some CORSAIR PLATINUM ddr3
1866), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-10-9-27, DHX, XMP, 1.5V

But my Asus Z77 Premium motherboard did not seem to like these so I went for these

with timings of CAS 11-11-11-36

With the corsair DDR I had BSOD constanly and could not overclock at all

What can I do to get say the 9-10-9-27 to work on my mobo

Im really wanting to use the CORSAIR PLATINUM as I have the corsair link commander etc

and the closest Timmings I can see are (2666), Non-ECC, CAS 11-13-13-35, DHX, XMP

Im just wanting some Corsair platinum to run and be overclockable

I assume you've tried enabling the XMP profile in the BIOS?

That would set the memory up exactly as it should be for timings, speed and voltage.

Hi Yes I had done that but it was not a happy mobo even with everything at default still had problems
I thought it might of been the memory or dimm slots but I returned theddr3 and it was tested on return
And was okay

This does not help much but I have tried the Corsair Platinum in 3 different systems and found it ran fine. The best result was running it in one of my X58 systems at over 2300mhz with much lower QPI volts than with a normal triple channel kit.

Have you run mem test to prove its the RAM???

Post up some Bios shots of your settings and we will see what we can do. Its probably easily tuned. Show all the RAM timings in these shots.
