Okay so I bought a Corsair TX850 and there's a few extra cables, I didn't buy the modular one because I didn't have much modular use for the extra 40 odd quid.
I really really want to get this cable management thing done before i put in my new setup at Christmas.
I have a Zalman z7 plus case and I was wondering if I could just drill out holes in the case for cables to be pulled through the back and round as in this picture below?

Thanks L15T3R

Depends on the space behind the mobo tray really.

I had an old NZXT lexa blackline and cut out all the necessary holes for hidden cables, plus I removed some excess by the 5 1/4" bays to give me some excess storage space. Worked a treat.

the thing to do is try and fit some cables behind and work out what you can get away with.

Thanks for the reply, well see that huge thick 24 pin connector, it is about twice as long as I needed it so shoved the excess length down the back of the case at the top where the PSU is so if that cable can fit down they all could, so do you think I could go for it and get a good cable management out of it?
And also if you don't mind me asking on the PSU there is obviously a pile of wires unneeded as you can see, do you have any tips for hiding them? in my new set up im thinking of getting a GTX 570 or SLI GTX 560TI so a few more wires will be coming out of the mess already there, but I don't know if i could have all the wires hanging down the back?

Thanks L15T3R
