Need a good powerful yet quiet 120mm fan for the front of my case and a nice quiet 80mm for my gfx which is also quiet have about £15 what can i get? they both needed but i would spend more on the 80cm as its for the gfx which i am gonna try and overclock so needs the extra cooling the 120mm is for the front to just add more cool air so is also a must but not as important have a nice cpu cooler so thats not nessecery just 1x80mm and 1x120mm fans no need 2 be light just cool and quiet.

Cheers for help guys n gyals

Deltas will never be quiet, unless you turn them off.

And the diference in case temps will be minor as long as the fans are set up correctly.

The ambers do push through a decent enough airflow, if you want a quiet fan with good airflow get the ambers. If you want a high airflow get some deltas, just make sure you have the PC in a soundproof room and its firmly bolted to the floor. :p

Well i am only goignj 2 add 1 more 120cm fan so needs 2 be quiet powerful but needs 2 be cool no more than 50dba would be fine i recok as case is quiet silent

50db is not quiet, in general (depends on the pitch of the noise) it doubles every 3db.

So the diference between 20db is like someone whispering compared to a hoover in your ear

Go for 120mm Panaflo fans, they push loads more air than the Ambers because they are deeper, they aren't that noisey either:)

30dba is LOUD. Very loud. The fact that your system is "quite silent" will make it no quieter, infact they'll just sound noisier. Just pay out more and get ambers like you should for any quality product, otherwise you'll have awful noisy fans.
