Looking at the side of most cases, and this is the important view these days yeh, i think, imho, seeing the side of the drive bays on the right looks really ugly, i know we can remove them but is there another way ? Any cases out there? i have a few ideas but means going mad with a chainsaw lol

BitFenix Ronin has a clever little cover to hide them, the Enthoo Pro and I think the Primo have rear-accessed HDD caddies - covered at the front

The Corsair 540 hides the psu and hard drives.

NZXT seem to have developed a habit of designing generally good cases, then throwing in a mental bit of design to ruin it all.

No need for drive bays in a case in 2014.
Couple of SSDs round the back is all most peeps need.
Optical/Mechanical doesn't belong in a case now - go external.

thanks for replies, yer i agree no hd bays needed, i got a haf x case im gona rip to shreds ..poor thing but it will be different i hope in a few weeks

Enthoo primo hides the drive bays and the psu too.
