Alright folks,

So basically I'm running the following -

3 x 120mm front intake
1 x 140mm exhaust
2 x 120mm on the H100i

I'm looking to replace them all with quieter options as these all seam pretty loud. I have a BitFenix fan controller which will control all the fans except the H100i ones which I'll run off the H100i itself.

My question is do I "need" to be getting PWM fans? It appears I've ordered normal ones and I'm not 100% sure if I can control the speeds of these? Will Corsair Link not change the speed of the H100i fans if they're not PWM?

Many thanks

The h100i fans need to be pwm (4-pin) to be controlled by the software however the case fans do not need to be pwm to be controlled by the fan controller. I would recommend getting 1x Corsair AF140 (which is the quiet edition), 3 x Corsair AF120 Queit edition and 2 x Corsair SP120 Queit edition PWM. This should make your rig very quiet and cool.
