Case For New Computer

Lian Li PC7 would work nicely for a budget.

Akasa Eclipse would be great due to its excellent layout and ease of use.

If your budget is big enough, A Lian Li V1000+ would be a very nice buy.
 
I could get any case on OcUK (in terms of cost), but I want something that is plain, but high quality, and will have good prospects for expansion in the future.

Get the akasa eclipse 62 it's pretty much faultless a couple of niggles
but they are only minor and don't detract from an otherwise perfect case.

I went for a thermaltake armour,

I know its not popular or anything nor is thermaltake for rubbish watercooling pumps etc etc..

But its a great case, good quality build, a lot of room for disk drives/hard drivers and so on

its nice and big, would fit a 120.3 watercooling rad down the front easy and still have room for disk drives.

its not too fancy ether like some cases which try to look cool but really arent, its nice :)

plus its nice alaminium feels like a good built case

I agree, not the flashiest case you will ever see, but build wise, awesome case.... good standard air cooling on it also... worth every penny imo :D

I agree with this.

The OP wants "plain, but high quality" and this describes the above cases perfectly.

These things will always be a matter of personal taste but I have to say that the Thermaltake Armour is not what I would call "plain" with its window and blue neon fans.

To each their own!

I am definitely considering one of the full tower cases from Lian Li.

The Thermaltake looks alright, and I was considering it before.

It's pretty expensive, but it looks good and it seems like high-quality. I don't mind spending the extra £70 now if it will last for a long time, and look good. :p

May i ask, why so many people recommend the v1000 =/ ?

I have one, and it really isnt that amazing.
