Case help please

What are you even talking about ? I am talking about the price gap between £170 and a corsair 800d which is £39.
So that is five times thus far you have pulled me up on things which you got wrong.
You need to grow up and quit whilst you are still behind.I took you off ignore to give you a second chance but you are definitely coming across as a bit of a troll tbh embarrassing yourself in this thread so far.So that is five times thus far you have pulled me up on things which you got wrong.

The coolermaster case is worth no more than £120 imo I like the case but my problem was always the hdd area not being removable in parts. It's not even thick aluminium it's flimsy with complaints of vibrations like a lot of lian lis get accused of because the aluminium is not thick enough.

Anyway I am done with this thread if he wants to listen to someone with almost 2000 posts in 2 months and recommends the case he owns in every thread going that's up to him.

If you are talking about the 840atcs case from coolermaster I would have to disagree with your comments about it being flimsy - it is nothjing of the sort - at least mine isn't, very solid I find. I do not suffer vibration problems with mine - my nonly regret is that they are now some £60 cheaper than when I bought mine.

RPG and MIKE GUNNZ have both said the air cooling in the 800D is not good!

Or don't real end-user experience or opinion count to you anymore?

Hardly the most secretly desired case is it.

Just to clarify before you go quoting me all over the interweb:

I never said that, and neither did RPG. I haven't even got my 800D yet, it arrives tomorrow, so I'm hardly in a position to give an end-user experience right now am I?. :p

What I actually said was that most of reviews I'd read had omitted to state whether or not the case was effective for air-cooling, but for the cost I'd expect it to be good under air and water. Anyway I'll be water cooling, thats why I bought it and imo water is the cases raison d'etre.

Lastly, I most definitely do desire this case. My desire is so secret my Mrs doesn't yet know I've bought it and I have no intention of telling her, its a secret desire you see...

I had a TJ07 once upon a time and this is clearly a worthy successor. (You can quote me on that if you want).

Thank you Tipes.

You obviously have taste and style.

If they made the aluminium any thicker, it would be to heavy.

Ignore spectrum/whoops I mean C64,

The 840 was on my list, only thing that put me off was the grey interior. Cracking looking case otherwise, seen it housing some nice water cooled rigs .

Its Silver.

Mine is finished with a smooth effect.

Plus the outside is Silver finish, so it all blends seamlessly.

Anyway, I don't want to get I to a debate about a shade or colour of metal.

This threads gone on to long, and V4anger has picked what he wants.

No he like you owns one and will deny any issues and continue to big up their own case regardless of issues and wont ever point out any problems.
Every case thread going you are in there recommending the coolermaster 840 even when it doesn't fit requirements which says it all really.
Good luck cooling the graphics cards on the 840 with that hard drive bay bang smack in the way. Will say no more on the subject.

The twin 240mm fans in the roof, and the graphics card heat extraction box will take care of the cooling.

umm it does fit my requirements. thats why im going for it. it is almost on par with the Haf cases for aircooling. it isnt awful. im not going to just take any ones word for it im just asking for suggestions and your opinions but ill research the cases myself as well.

there is a bit of hypocrisy going on hear with you (C64) saying they are bigging up their cases and you praising yours. the ATCS has had great reviews and no one has said it isnt worth the money. ive read all the threads on this forum regarding it. and the graphics cards do have a bit of a job being cool but its not going to be anywhere near dangerous levels. the cooling just isnt absolutely stunning. im not going to upgrade to a 800D since it is steel and therefore very heavy. and i dont really like the looks that much tbh.

Why the roll eyes?

I didn't nit pick, just corrected you on the finish and colour of the inside.

Yes I have to admit that once built - especially with watercooling it becomes rather heavy !!!!!, but very nice all the same. Each to their own as usual , some will like it ,others won't.

I can quite honestly say that my comments on the 840 are true - if there was a problem I would say so. I think you are being argumentative just for the sake of it. If you do not believe my comments you are welcome to come and inspect my case & setup and you will see that there is no problems. The cooling is very adequate - even on air.
