Case Labs Cases

So, For the life of me I never actually noticed the Lian Li cases.

The £150 shipping for the CaseLabs case has put it on the unsure side.

I took an instant shine to the Lian Li PC-08. When it arrived I was blown away.

This case is a master piece and there's only one thing I regret... I ordered the wrong one.

There is the PC-08 and the PC-08s which is the simplified version that does not have the fans or the LED RGB Kit. OcUK are amazing and offered to rectify my mistake just means I gotta take a trip to Stoke as its cheaper for me to drive than pay for Courier.

But overall the Lian Li PC-08 Case is a piece of art. But Also like the Caselabs Magnum TH10A.

So I'm still unsure as its a tie-up between Lian Li PC-08 and the Caselabs Magnum TH10A. The price is about £300 difference (with all the options I would like)

Other option is what I managed to do and drop on a used one in the MM.

What do you mean ? I have been looking all over for them but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I found a place that sells them but not only are they Out Of Stock they're also £60+. For that I can return the case and wait for the complete setup to become available.

Just noticed your post code don't think you have access to it. But the Members Market on here they pop up from time to time.

I got my Caselabs case for £75 :)

Nope don't have access to the members market. Not sure why :(:(:(

Yeah, I wanted a CaseLabs originally (As per my thread Title) But after calculating the STH10 by the time it would get to me it would have cost me £750 or so.

I also went and looked at the Magnum TH10A. Although saving me £100 still made the total about £650.

There was a Lian Li case similar to the TH10A at about £450 but like the others they don't look as nice as the Lian Li PC-08.

I think I'm going to continue with the PC-08 (when its in stock). I just wish they made one but bigger.

Slightly off topic but which of these Lian Li pc08 models did you get ?

One is £309 and the other is £350.

Is it just the fans and light control that costs £40 more?

As I already plan to use a Asus RGB board and noctua fans.

The £309 is the PC-08s which is the simplified version.

This is the same as the PC-08 but does not include the fans or the LED Controller which is designed for the case.

If you do decided to get the simplified version and want the LED kit later then be aware the kit is very hard to find and costs about £60.

If you're not aware of the LED kit that it comes with I would take a look as its a nice kit and is made specifically for it.

I was ready to take the plunge in spending £650 on the CaseLabs STH10.

But today I was made aware of the cost of import duty and tax which works out at an additional £177.84.

This throws the case upto £831.64 which is much more than I was willing to pay (£650). Although I really want a CaseLabs and the case itself is worth it, the £120 shipping and £177 import duty and tax just push it into a price range I can't justify.

I see caselabs are releasing some cases aimed more at the air cooling folk, i'm looking forward to seeing the finished articles.. prices are pretty decent also.

BH2 (ITX)
BH4 (mATX)
BH7 (ATX/EATX)

I thought the same but that extra £300 (shipping and tax) can be spent on some other shinies.

Which has put me in a pickle really as now I have to look for another case to the STH10. I love the Lian Li PC-08, but I'm not sure on the watercooling options.

Would Love one cant justify the cost though for a matx case.

Its not the cost of the case really as their pricing is quite reasonable considering quality and modularity of them.

Its the Shipping and Tax/Duty for us UK Buyers.
