I'm a bit stuck with case lighting and cable colouring. I have a HAF X case, and I bought some PSU extensions that are braided with red fabric. They look fantastic and really pick up the look of the build.
My problem came when I bought an NZXT LED strip that fits in an expansion port. It was a 2m strip of red LEDS, but instead of my new red cables popping, they look completely dull. I know this is because of light wavelengths etc, and how the red light must be a different red to the cables, the same as if you look at something red under green light, it looks dark and muddy.
So my question is, with a new build I'm planning with an Air 240 around a green theme, can I get green LED fans/lights and that luminous NVidia green style PSU cable extensions, or will they suffer the same problem of looking totally dark. Should I go with pure white lighting? I have Founder's edition gfx cards, so I'm aiming for that nuclear hi-vis lime colour lighting and cables. I'm beginning to think it's a case of white cables and coloured lighting, or vice versa.
