Case lighting with colour braided PSU cables

I'm a bit stuck with case lighting and cable colouring. I have a HAF X case, and I bought some PSU extensions that are braided with red fabric. They look fantastic and really pick up the look of the build.

My problem came when I bought an NZXT LED strip that fits in an expansion port. It was a 2m strip of red LEDS, but instead of my new red cables popping, they look completely dull. I know this is because of light wavelengths etc, and how the red light must be a different red to the cables, the same as if you look at something red under green light, it looks dark and muddy.

So my question is, with a new build I'm planning with an Air 240 around a green theme, can I get green LED fans/lights and that luminous NVidia green style PSU cable extensions, or will they suffer the same problem of looking totally dark. Should I go with pure white lighting? I have Founder's edition gfx cards, so I'm aiming for that nuclear hi-vis lime colour lighting and cables. I'm beginning to think it's a case of white cables and coloured lighting, or vice versa.

Coloured LED lighting will swamp your case and drown out any other accents. I use white lighting to highlight the colours in mine

BitFenix LED strip & Phanteks Luxe case but hopefully it gives you an idea

Yes, it needs a dust

Avexir Venom . It flashes intermittently so sometimes its in sequence, mostly not though and the whole thing doesn't light up like I thought it would.
I still like it though. Green is not the most popular colour and I'm not sure it was released in DDR4 version. I'm not sure there is any DDR4 green RAM.

You are correct, I found your Venom in DDR3 flavours, but no DDR4. There is some Tesla green coming out Q3 this year, but that is SO expensive, I may just go with Dominators, with their subtle white downwash light.
