Case Lighting

Has anyone used EL Wire strings, or similar for lighting their case? I had 2x 4" cathodes but they burnt out. Now im looking for a better lighting option. Anyone supply any real pics?

nice idea. im thinking of buying some LEDs and mounting them on a small sheet
of perspex with loads of drilled holes to let the light shine through them.

im gonna mount them on both sides of my sugo case sides. should look good
gonna be a lot of drilling tho lol

got any more pix of the leds ? please

just need to find a place that sells leds cheap ish

No more pics and I've been doing the kitchen since about 8 this morning so I'm knackered

I got them from a HK based shop called LED Shoppe for £4.50 delivered.

A single strip, they come with bare wires with i just wired up to a molex connector. They run from the 12v/ground

You can cut them and solder on your own wire if you need shorter lengths though.

What kind of shop would have these? I can think of maybe one but I'm not sure I've seen them in it.

Might go for red inside the case, but keeping the blue LED fans on the front of the 900.

paul_64l you could make a UV 1. all you need is leds, resistors, wiring, molex, and soldering iron.

then you just need some info from the leds so you can calculate what kind of resistors you need

I use Optx by street glow for my lighting.
