Hello all,

i have my self a lovely dark fleet Df 85..

love it to bits, have blue cold cathodes in it and the stock red fans looks amazing,

however as its sat on my desk i see only the black side of it this id like to change,,,

now im BIG into starcraft so ive been thinking about putting the starcraft Logo... in i think its called an etch and then cathode around it to make it light up ...

personally have no experience with mods and id feel better paying some one to do it rather than me mucking it up ,

any ideas on how i should tackle doing this or getting some one to do this for me ?

Thanks James

This is the first time I've ever seen the words 'lovely' and 'dark fleet DF85' in a single sentence.

As for the mod I'm sorry but I've no idea where you could find someone to do this. I also think etching and lighting only tends to work with non opaque materials such as acrylic or glass and not so much steel panel, or were you thinking of an inset window?

Get it cut out by an engineering firm and then back it with coloured/clear acrylic sheet.

I liked the DF85! May be because I have an Antec 1200?
OP : There are some places that can cut CAD designs using water jets and laser as well!

Oh yeah I have a TJ07 now, but I still like Antec1200 and DF85 :)

I was looking for a place to do some water jet cutting today - just using google, but they were closed. Going to call them on tuesday.

Sent in trust, they are not competitors but anyways:)
I was only looking for a place around my area so this might not be suitable for you.

So I called that water jet cutting place, they are charging £80 per hour! Bit expensive :)
But they said they can cut the window(s) to any shape or size I want, or if I design it in AutoCAD they can use that template as well.
But I will give it a miss TBH.
Will get the dremel out and do some cutting my self :)
